TOPIC: New garden area

New garden area 2 Years ago Karma: 0
Hey there, long time no see.

I am starting a new garden area tomorrow, taking a spot that was grass and turning it into a garden area. I'm laying down paper, then an inch of soil, then composted wood chips. Should be fun.

My question is, is there anything I can plant right now? Or is it too late?

I already plan on putting in some bulb flowers.

Thanks!

What kind of gardening are you going to do? Vegetables or flowers or both?

I know there is still time for garlic. I love the stuff! The grange has 4-5 varieties and if Greenleaf is still open they had some varieties inside the building where you pay.

Mainly a vegetable garden, but with some flowers around it to add some fun.

Sounds like I can get some garlic in this week and be fine. Not sure what I will do with it all once it pops up though lol.
